With everyone from Damon Albarn, Pharrell Williams and Phil Collins rumoured to be appearing on the as-yet-untitled, top-secret album, there has been very little verified information on Adele's latest project.
Then tonight, in the middle of an ad break for X-Factor, TV screens around the country cut to black and the following happened...
