Newstalk is seeking a financial accountant on a full-time basis.

The chosen candidate will report to the station's financial director.

Key Tasks:

• Day Book entry & postings
• Purchase Ledger processing
• Maintenance of Purchase Order Processing
• Completing payment runs
• Ad hoc Credit Control
• Processing contributor payments
• Sundry Administration requirements

Qualifications / Experience:

• Minimum – Leaving Certificate
• Minimum – One Years Experience in a working environment.
• Minimum – Spreadsheet Experience
• Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word & Outlook)

Personal Requirements:

• Presentable
• A Confident Communicator
• Self Starter
• Enthuasiastic
• An interest in the media industry

Training:

• In-line with companies Education Policy
• The successful candidate can expect exposure to a number of accounting disciplines.

Conditions of Employment:

• Salary  - €20,000 – €24,000
• Holiday Entitlements – 20 Days Annually
• Possible Study Package
