The motor market is huge and, as you can probably tell from watching the television, a lot of money and time goes into their videos. Today I’ve been taking a break from Geneva news and I am browsing a selection of what I think are clever car ads where things aren’t always as they seem.

There are plenty of good car ads out there, and if you can think of any smart or clever ones please send them onto us with “motors” as the title.

First up is a Honda video from 2013, with a very cool sound track and some great optics. This is an American ad for the CR-V called “Honda Illusions, An Impossible Made Possible.”

Here’s an advertisement we came across for the Skoda Fabia. It’s clever and simple, or indeed as Skoda would say it’s “Simply Clever”. This is the "Skoda Fabia Attention Test."

Next up is from Land Rover. This advert goes back to 2011 and is about a boyfriend who doesn't always (ever) tell the truth.
