90 new jobs have been announced at a cloud software company in Dublin.

'LogMeIn' - which opened in the city in 2012 and already employs almost 50 people - made the announcement at the official opening of new offices in Dublin's docklands.

The positions will be filled over the next three years. They will include technical roles and positions in sales, marketing, finance, HR and IT.

The company aims to "simplify how people connect with devices, colleagues and customers." Its core LogMeIn software allows users to remotely access computers, and they offer others products such as their Join.me collaborative software.

Martin Shanahan, CEO of IDA Ireland said that “LogMeIn’s plans to further increase its workforce at their new office in Dublin’s Grand Canal Dock is another vote of confidence in Ireland’s growing tech hub. It also demonstrates the strength of the talent pool that is available in Ireland."

The company's co-founder and CEO Michael Simon said, “Dublin provides an excellent base for LogMeIn’s presence in this thriving market and has quickly become our international hub for attracting and supporting our rapidly expanding user and customer base."
