Farmers will stage protests at meat plants across the country from 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon for 48 hours.
The demonstrations will go ahead after crunch talks between farmers and factories broke down late last night.
The IFA says its members are being short changed in comparison to their UK counterparts.

Irish farmers claim the price paid for their beef is €350 per head less here than in the UK.
