39 people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in west London.
The stabbing happened shortly before 1am this morning, at Fulham Palace Road in Hammersmith and Fulham.
A man, who's thought to be in his mid-30s, was discovered with stab injuries.
He was treated at the scene by police officers and paramedics.
He's now been taken to hospital, where he's in a 'critical but stable' condition.
According to police, the victim had been chased by a number of men and women after a row in a shop.
Suspects were seen entering a nearby home where a party was taking place.
Met Police officers attended the address and "attempted to speak with a large number of people who were inside".
However, police say the people at the party failed to co-operate - and a total of 39 people were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Met Police Superintendent Mark Lawrence explained: "What appears to have been a minor argument has resulted in a man sustaining life-threatening injuries.
"Whilst it is unusual for so many people to be arrested in the early stages of an investigation such as this, due to a lack of co-operation and the necessity of securing essential evidence following a serious assault, this action was appropriate."
Police say two knives were found close to the scene of the stabbing, and the investigation into the incident continues.
