A 36-year-old man has died after a collision in Dublin.

It happened on Carysfort Avenue in Blackrock at around twenty to five this evening when his motorbike hit a parked car.

He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Garda forensic collision investigators have carried out an examination at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Blackrock garda station.
