At least 29 people have been killed in two shooting attacks in Kenya. Reports claim that heavily armed men attacked a trading centre in the village of Hindi, in Lamu county, and a police station in Gamba, Tana River county.
The Somalian militant Islamist group Al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for the attacks. The group has previously claimed responsibility for terrorist attacks in Kenya, including the Westgate shopping centre massacre in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
