A man (34) has been arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary and assault at an apartment in Limerick overnight.
A man entered the apartment on Lower Glenworth Street shortly after 1am - the two male occupants, aged 22 and 23, were stabbed and a quantity of cash and mobile phones were stolen.
The men were taken to University Hospital Limerick and their injuries are not life-threatening.

The man (34) was arrested nearby and is being held at Henry Street garda station.
Some property was also recovered and investigations are continuing.
