A 19 year old man has died in a road crash in Co. Roscommon.
He was killed when the car he was a passenger in struck a wall on the road near Four Mile House at around 8pm yesterday evening.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Roscommon Hospital.
Three other men - all aged in their 20s - were also in the car at the time. They were taken by ambulance to hospitals in Galway, Sligo and Mullingar.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the single vehicle crash in Co. Roscommon.
Meanwhile, a woman has died after being struck by a car in Co Limerick last night. It happened on the N20 at Ballynabanogue in Croom at about a quarter past seven.
The victim - an 82-year-old pedestrian - was hit by the car as she crossed the road.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and removed to Limerick Regional Hospital.
