A 19-year-old man has died after taking a substance at a Cork music festival.

He had been in hospital since he ingested the drug at the Indiependence event in Mitchelstown at the weekend.

He complained of feeling unwell and was brought to Cork University Hospital, where he died today.

He's from Clonmel in Co Tipperary.
