A would be attacker was left black and blue when he was beaten up by a 14-year-old girl he tried to attack in a Sussex park.
The teenage girl was walking home through the park when the 35-year-old man grabbed her. The man grabbed the schoolgirl by the arms but she quickly broke free using martial arts techniques she had honed over several years of training. She then attacked the man with punches and kicks.
The man is described by police as 5ft 7ins and thin.
Sussex Police arrested the man after the attempted assault and are appealing for any witnesses to the assault in Tinsley Park, Crawley park to come forward.
Detective Inspector Andy Bennett of the Sussex Police said to ITV: "Although we have made an arrest, we need to speak to anyone who was in Tilgate Park on Saturday morning and saw what happened. We need to find people who may have seen a man acting suspiciously in or around the park on Saturday or on other occasions."
