Gardaí have seized cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €10,000 Tallaght, Dublin. An imitation fire was also found during the operation.

As part of an intelligence led operation, the drug as well as two bullet-proof vests, an imitation handgun, gloves, a balaclava, and a quantity of pepper spray were discovered at a house in West Tallaght.

A man in his early thirties was arrested at the scene on foot of existing bench warrants and was due to appear before Tallaght District Court today.
