The Carers Association says its members are determined to fight the cut to their Respite Care Grant.
The grant was reduced by almost 20%, to €1,375 as part of Budget 2013.
Around 100 carers will protest outside the Dáil at noon today, to put pressure on the government to reverse the cut.
