As part of our Summer Season of Documentary on Newstalk, PPI-nominated producer Brian Gallagher’ latest work is a two-part radio documentary, “Bay Stories”,  that looks at the diverse and colorful people that have lived beside Dublin Bay

Bono and Captain Bligh, Maeve Binchy and Molly Bloom, Brian O’Driscoll and Count John McCormack – strange bedfellows at first glance. All had one thing in common, however – they lived, worked, or were educated along the shores of Dublin Bay.

The “Bay Stories”  series features interviews with a diverse range of people involved in the many activities associated with the bay, as the programme explores the wealth of heritage that exists on the capital’s doorstep, and the lives of those who worked, lived and played there.
