You may be waiting around just that little bit longer for the next Star Wars episode.
It seems that Disney have pushed the release date for Episode VIII of the series back to December 2017, instead of its original release date of May 2017.
According to Den of Geek, this doesn't necessarily mean all the Star Wars films will switch to that date but with the astounding box office sales for the seventh film in the series, it's understandable why Disney and Lucas have reversed their decision.
Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: Episode VIII is currently in preproduction and will begin principal photography in London next month.
