Former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland has died.
The 48-year-old passed away in his sleep on a tour stop in Minnesota in the US, with his band The Wildabouts.
Originally from California, he enjoyed success with Stone Temple Pilots in the 90s with songs such as "Interstate Love Song".
He is survived by his wife Jamie Wachtel and children Noah, 15, and Lucy, 13.
A statement on his instagram page has asked for privacy for his family.
