Donald Trump has refused to say that he will accept the result of the United States election.

When pressed by the moderator of the third and final presidential debate to confirm that he will accept the outcome of the vote, he said: "I will look at it at the time."

Hillary Clinton described her rival's refusal to endorse the electoral process as "horrifying".

Taoiseach Enda Kenny is travelling to Brussels today to join heads of state and government at an EU summit.
