A number of Irish politicians went from storming through the corridors of power to storming down the catwalk after taking part in a fashion show in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel on Tuesday evening.
From across the political spectrum and the upper and lower houses of the Oireachtas, TDs and Senators pulled off their office attire to pull on some fashion-forward threads for the now annual Oireachtas Christmas Charity Fashion Show.
The gala was held in honour of the late Fine Gael TD Nicky McFadden, who died of Motor Neurone Disease in 2014.
In total, 19 of the country’s elected officials stormed the runway, with their outfits chosen by stylist Marietta Doran. You can take a look at them strutting their stuff in the gallery below:
