Cannabis worth an estimated €3.2 million has been seized in Co Meath.
Searches were carried out yesterday as part of an ongoing joint investigations between Gardaí and Revenue targeting organised crime groups in the Meath region.
At around 4pm yesterday, a number of people and vehicles were intercepted in the Ashbourne area. A local business was also searched.
Around 160 kilograms of cannabis herb was seized during the operation.
Four men - aged between 25 and 61 - were arrested in connection with drug trafficking offences.
They are being detained at Finglas and Kells Garda stations.
Investigations into the seizure are said to be continuing both domestically and internationally.
