Protestors have gathered at the family home of Brock Turner in Ohio as they await his return after being released from prison last week.
He had only served half of his six month sentence for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman at Stanford University.
The lenient sentence received widespread criticism on social media after a heartfelt outburst from his victim which led to local politicians creating legislation for mandatory minimum sentencing for similar cases in the future.
He must register as a sex offender for life and faces three years of supervised probation.
