During her visit to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Ariana surprised a number of fans who were overjoyed to see her.

10-year-old Jaden Farrell-Mann who suffered fractures to both legs and shrapnel wounds was among those who got to meet her.

She tweeted "I got to meet my queen today" with a picture of her and the pop singer at her bedside.

Lauren Thorpe also wrote on Twitter saying "Tonight's visit from Ariana Grande was just the lift all the kids (and parents) needed".

Ariana posted her own image on Instagram of her visit to the Manchester hospital. She brought along signed t-shirts and teddy bears to help cheer the children up.
