The woman was seriously injured when the car she was driving collided with another car. 

She was taken by ambulance to Wexford General Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

The male driver and female passenger in the other car, both in their 50’s were seriously injured and taken to Wexford General Hospital.

The road was closed to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision Examination but has since reopened.
