Ireland is facing into some heavy wind and rain tonight as Ireland experiences the tail end of Hurricane Gonzalo.
The storm has already severely damaged buildings and caused power cuts in Bermuda.
Met Eireann has issued an orange and yellow weather alert for different parts of the country as it is expected to become very wet and windy across the country this evening.
A wind warning is in place for Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo with strong to gale force winds with gusts of 90 to 110km/h forecast.
The heavy rain will clear to showers overnight and temperatures won’t drop below seven to nine degrees.
The strong winds are to continue through to tomorrow morning, gradually evening tomorrow afternoon and evening.
