Here's one for all fans of everyday superheroes.

Last Saturday morning a small house in the city of Fresno, California caught fire, trapping a man inside.

While onlookers try frantically to help, one figure calmly heads towards the house, returning less than a minute later with the man on his back. 

The rescued man, who suffered from prior respiratory problems that required an oxygen tank, was brought to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation, while the unknown hero appears to have quickly slipped away.

According to the Fresno Bee, the video was recorded by Beth Lederach, a motorist who pulled over and immediately called 911 upon seeing the blaze.
