Two men have been arrested in connection with the seizure of cannabis plants valued at €160,000 at Adare in County Limerick yesterday.
Around 200 plants were seized during a planned search of a premises at Kilknockan.
The search part of an ongoing operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Limerick area.
Two men - aged 56 and 58 - were arrested at the scene.
They are currently being detained at Henry Street Garda Station.
In a follow-up search today, a firearm and cocaine worth an estimated €6,000 were discovered in the Ballynanty area.
Meanwhile, a machine gun, a shotgun and two pistols were also found in a holdall bag, on lands at Old Pallas in County Limerick.
No arrests have been made in connection with the firearms seizures.
