The history of New York has long been influenced by Irish culture, and this week seems to be a prime example. Not only did Supermacs advertise a snack box in Times Square, but now pedestrians have been treated to a billboard sized protest against Irish water charges.
While on a trip to New York with his friends, Irishman Brian O'Malley earned a few fleeting seconds of fame as a photo of him and his friends was projected on a display owned by clothing store American Eagle.
The store allows one such photo with each purchase, and Brian & co. were keen to make the most of it, getting a dig in at Enda and water charges with their caption, "Feck your water charges Enda !!!!!!!!"
