Four seasons in one day or what we like to call the definition of Irish weather.

If you are planning to head out trick-or-treating over the next 24 hours, you may want to read on, especially if you live in the West.

Met Éireann have issued another rainfall warning for Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick. The warning will be in effect until 6pm this evening, Friday October 31st.

However, more rain is expected across the weekend. Tomorrow there will be sunny spells but there will also be some very heavy downpours.

Cloudy, windy, wet conditions will develop in western coastal counties by noon. This band of heavy rain will spread quickly eastwards in the afternoon but clearing away again during the evening or early Saturday night.

Highest temperatures on Saturday will be 11 to 14 degrees C.

On Sunday, it will be cool and breezy with sunny spells and scattered heavy showers in the morning, but showers merging to bring some longer spell of rain to Atlantic counties during the afternoon.

There will be afternoon highs of 9 to 13 degrees C.. 

A risk of some strong winds especially near western coasts Sunday night with possible further rain or showers.
