A group of scientists is calling for replacement medications for men over 65 after a survey found links between common prescription drugs and falls which lead to injury.

Previous research found that some of the drugs can also cause memory loss and dementia.

In a study released today, scientists from Trinity College and St James's Hospital in Dublin, as well as three UK universities, found links between certain prescription drugs and falls which can cause injury.
