A Texas teenager has been jailed for life after he admitted to beating his mother to death and then having sex with her corpse.
18-year-old Kevin Davis from Corpus Christi beat his mother, Kimberley Hill, to death with a hammer before sexually assaulting her dead body.
The teenager reportedly told the authorities: “I had sexual intercourse. Guess I lost my virginity to a dead corpse.”
He told police that he tried to strangle the woman but she kept screaming. He then used a hammer to strike her on the head.
Davis also told the police that he had planned on killing his sister but decided “I had my fill of killing. It seemed a little much.”
Jurors took less than a hour to deliver their verdict of a life sentence to the teenager. A tape of Davis’ confession was played to jurors during his trial.
