A number of flights to London have been cancelled for a second day due to foggy weather across the British capital.

Some passengers may experience disruption to their journey, while others have had flights cancelled altogether.

Passengers are being advised to check their flight status with their airline before coming to the airport.

Three flights to and from Dublin Airport have been cancelled so far this morning.

Two arrivals - flights EI151 and EI155 - as well as one departure, flight EI154.

While two flights from Cork Airport to London Heathrow have also been cancelled: flights BA5911 and EI711.

Heathrow Airport has been forced  to cancel up to 100 flights.

The reduced visibility means the airport's normal pattern of a plane landing or taking off every 45 seconds is not possible.

While London's Gatwick Airport says its passengers may also experience some delays.
