Mark Pollock lost his sight at the age of 22, and became the first blind person to race to the South Pole. But four weeks before he was due to marry his fiancée Simone, he was paralysed from the waist down in an accident, throwing his life into turmoil.

A new documentary, Unbreakable, tells the remarkable story of Mark Pollock’s determination to rebuild his life, and the effort it takes to do so.

Made over a six year period by award-winning filmmaker Ross Whitaker, the documentary premieres at a sold-out screening in  Dublin’s Lighthouse Cinema tomorrow night.

The filmmakers will be taking part in a Q&A on Saturday, and you can find out when the film is coming to a cinema near you on the official website.
