Contraband tobacco products and vehicles have been seized by Revenue officers in Cork.
It followed intelligence-led enforcement operations in Fermoy and Cork city.
Last Tuesday Revenue officers and members of An Garda Síochána - along with Revenue's detector dog Harvey - discovered 2kgs of Marlboro Light tobacco and four litres of illicit spirits in Fermoy.
A saloon car was also seized.
In a follow-up search of a house in Cork city, Revenue officers seized 3,360 contraband cigarettes branded L&M.
A Lithuanian man aged in his 30s was questioned and a prosecution file is being prepared.
While this Tuesday Revenue officers seized 2.5kgs of Amber Leaf tobacco at a car park on the Kinsale Road in Cork city.
A commercial vehicle was also seized.
An Irish man in his 20s was questioned and a prosecution file is being prepared.
The total value of the tobacco products seized was €4,200, with a potential loss to the exchequer of over €3,300.
