A post mortem will be carried out today on the remains of a person discovered in the River Suir in Waterford.
A member of the public made the discovery just after five o'clock yesterday evening.
They called emergency services after spotting the remains in the water at Granny in Ferrybank.

A Coast Guard helicopter was launched and directed the river rescue team to the body.
The body was removed to Waterford University Hospital Mortuary where a post mortem will take place later today.
It's not known at this stage if the body is that of a man or a woman.
