A man has died following a collision in Co Limerick yesterday evening.
The incident happened on Lord Edward Street in Kilmallock at around 5.15pm.
A male pedestrian - who was in his mid-50s - was struck by a lorry.
He was pronounced dead at scene, and his body was taken to University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem will take place.
Nobody else is reported to have been injured, and no arrests have been made.
The road has now reopened following a technical examination.
