The PSNI are investigating two overnight arson attacks in Armagh and Antrim.
In Craigavon, a house on Trasna Way was badly damaged when a blaze started in the hallway of a house in the early hours. A man and a woman managed to escape uninjured.
Detective Constable Stewart said: “Police received a report at around 1am that the front door of a house in the area had been set alight. Substantial damage was caused to the front door and hallway of the house and smoke damage caused throughout."
In Ballycastle, two people had to escape through an upstairs window of a flat, when a fire started in a stairwell.
The pair were uninjured but the property has been significantly damaged.
Police are appealing for witnesses in both cases.
