Gardaí have seized over €1.5m worth of drugs in Dublin and Meath.

This morning gardaí uncovered cannabis worth €750,000 in a warehouse in Ashbourne.

One man in his 40s was arrested.

Meanwhile two people have been released and a man in his 40s remains in custody after a drugs bust in South Dublin yesterday.

Cocaine, ecstasy and sleeping pills also worth around €750,000 were found after searches at a number of houses in Walkinstown.

While in Cork customs officers have seized €40,000 worth of cocaine in an operation at Cork Airport.
