Two people have been killed and several others injured after a gunman opened fire at a bar in central Tel Aviv.
Israeli Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said five people were wounded in the shooting on Friday afternoon.
He said officers were investigating and it was not immediately clear who was behind it.
Units are currently searching the Tel Aviv area for the suspect.
The injured people have been taken to hospitals in the city.
Israeli media reported that at least three of the victims were seriously injured. Channel 10 news reported that local businesses shut after the gunman fled the scene.
