A suicide support group says proper policies and protocols must be put in place to prevent people taking their own lives, especially in school environments.
Console says it receives around 3,400 calls each month but there's been an increase over the last six months.
It believes some of the rise is due to people being at risk of losing their homes.

There are concerns of a possible suicide cluster in Newbridge, Co Kildare, where five young men have taken their own lives in recent weeks.
