Met Éireann has issued a national weather warning for tonight and into tomorrow.

It says dense fog will develop in many places, meaning greatly reduced visibility and poor driving conditions.

However it says the fog is likely to clear only slowly during Wednesday.

This is the second national fog warning in as many weeks.
