Gardaí say the gunman who shot a man in a housing estate in Dublin earlier today remains at large.
A 32-year-old man is in hospital after he was shot by the lone gunman at Belcamp Grove, Priorswood in Coolock this afternoon.
At around a quarter to four this evening, a gunman on a bicycle approached a 32-year-old man as he was leaving his house in the Belcamp Grove estate and opened fire.
The victim, who was standing in his front garden at the time, received a number of gunshot wounds and was rushed to Beaumont Hospital.
Gardaí say his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The gunman - who was wearing a hooded top - fled the scene in the direction of the Link road.
The scene has now been sealed off while gardaí carry out a technical examination. They are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting or anyone who may have information in relation to the attack to contact Coolock Garda Station.
