A man arrested on Wednesday in connection with the disappearance of an Englishman 25 years ago has been released without charge.
43-year-old father-of-four Charles Brook Pickard was abducted from Castlecove, County Kerry in April 1991.
Gardaí detained a man in his sixties and held him overnight for questioning at Killarney Garda Station.
He has since been released, and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
In September of this year, gardaí excavated a forest site near Waterville in County Kerry, close to where Mr Pickard's van was found burnt out.
On the day of his disappearance, several people witnessed Mr Pickard being bundled into his own van by a number of men.
The arrest was the first made in the investigation in over 25 years.
