A man has been arrested in France after a car hit barriers outside a mosque.
The incident happened in Creteil, a suburb of Paris.
The car was stopped by barriers put in place to protect the mosque.
In a statement posted on Twitter, police said there were no injuries as a result of the crash.

The driver of the vehicle is said to have later been arrested at his home.
An investigation is now underway.
While police said they were working to identify if there were any motives behind the incident, the Le Parisien newspaper claimed the man wanted to 'avenge' recent terrorist attacks in France.
