A post mortem examination will now take place
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in Northern Ireland.
The PSNI are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of man, whose body was discovered in a car in Lisburn Monday afternoon.
Police received a report shortly after 4.20pm.
A post mortem examination will take place to determine the cause of death, which is being treated as suspicious.
An appeal has been launched to anybody who may have information in relation to the death or who was in the area of Limehurst Way between 9.00am and 5.00pm to contact detectives.
Police do not believe that there is any paramilitary involvement in this incident.
