Motorists are being warned of potential traffic chaos in Dublin this bank holiday weekend.
An estimated 100,000 people are likely to attend sporting events in the capital over coming days, while the ongoing work on the Luas Cross City line is due to cause major traffic disruption in the city centre.
Thousands of football fans are expected at the Aviva Stadium this evening, with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez already confirmed to be among the players travelling to Dublin for the match.
Huge crowds are also expected for the four All-Ireland games in Croke Park today and Sunday.
The Vodafone Comedy Festival is also continuing at the Iveagh Gardens until Sunday, while other events in the city include the Gaze Film Festival.
Meanwhile, the quays at O'Connell Bridge are closed to both eastbound and westbound traffic until early Tuesday morning as a result of the Luas construction works.

Diversions will be in place, and Dublin City Council has published full details of how to access the city centre's car parks.
A number of Dublin Bus services will be diverted as a result of the construction works.
Gardaí are advising that the city will be fully open to pedestrians.
Richard Guiney, CEO of Dublin Town, says that while the works have caused significant upheaval, he is hopeful it will be worth it in the long run.
"The good news is that we're basically on the home stretch," he explained. "The works have been going on for around three years, [and] we've got around three months more".
The Luas itself is operating as normal. Anybody travelling to the city centre can park for free at any Luas Park and Ride over the weekend, and additional tram services will be operating.
Irish Rail is also offering free parking at a number of stations, and says there will be increased DART capacity.
The free public transport travel scheme for Child Leap Card holders is also continuing, and includes travel on Dublin Bus, Luas, DART, Commuter and some Bus Éireann services.
Anybody who is driving this weekend - in Dublin or elsewhere - is being advised to be cautious when driving as a result of the increased bank holiday traffic.
