A father of four who has been playing the same lotto numbers all his life has collected a cheque for €6.3m at National Lottery Headquarters.
Gerry Murphy, from Ballinrobe in Co Mayo, scooped the jackpot in Saturday night's draw.
He bought his €6 winning ticket in Murphy's Newsagency, run by his his brother-in-law, in the town.
Gerry and an entourage of family and friends collected his winnings this afternoon.
As part of his prize, he also wins a €1 scratch card.
Mr Murphy says he still has not worked out how to spend the money.
