All personnel featured in the photos are either from the United Nations Disengagement Forces (UNDOF) in the Golan Heights, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the Resolute Support Mission, Afghanistan and KFOR in Kosovo have sent their messages home.

The Irish Defence Forces currently have 500 personnel serving on 16 missions.

"Happy Father’s Day to my dad. Have a great day and I will see you soon for a game and a pint of the black stuff,” said Airman Damien Adderley from the CIS Air Corps.
