It has certainly been a big week for U2 announcements but the latest news will certainly make a lot of fans very happy.
Following their new album release exclusively to iTunes last night, there has been a lot of speculation about whether the band will embark on another World Tour.
Speaking to Lunchtime with Jonathan Healy, their previous manager Paul McGuinness stated that a World Tour was a strong possibility.
"I think you can expect a major U2 tour probably starting next summer that will be in every way what people expect from U2, groundbreaking, unique and world beating."
"People sometimes forget that U2 have been the world champions now for over 20 years. It's routine but that's no reason not to be very proud of it."
