180 new jobs are on the way following three separate announcements.
100 positions are being created at Groupon over the next two years as it opens its new research and development centre in the capital.
The company - which operates a website that offers vouchers for deals at local businesses - is to open its International Engineering and Marketing Centre in Dublin.
Nearly 100 highly skilled roles are on offer at the company, with plans to add a further 100 over the next two years.
Groupon will be looking for experienced technology professionals in the fields of software engineering, data analysis and digital marketing for its new Dublin office.
Meanwhile, 30 jobs will be on offer at MDR Medical in Cabra.
The firm cleans used crutches and walking aids to be reused in hospitals.
As well as the jobs, the company says the announcement should also lead to savings of "some millions of euros, spent annually by the HSE on the purchase of new walking frames and crutches."
Elsewhere, Winterval has begun its 2014 recruitment drive for 50 elves for its festival in Waterford.
