Public warned not to approach armed man missing in Co Clare

Gardaí have warned members of the public not to approach an armed man who is missing in County Clare.

Investigators believe 19-year-old Jack Dinan is armed with a rifle and a number of rounds of ammunition.

Jack was last seen on Considine Road, Ennis at approximately 10am yesterday.

Gardaí said that while he has not threatened anyone, he is under medical supervision and may appear agitated or confused.

Jack is described as being 6ft tall of slim build with black hair.

He wears a tooth brace on his upper teeth.

Gardaí said he may have been wearing a grey hoodie top, grey spot camouflaged jacket when he left home.

His family have urged him to contact home.

While investigators are appealing for help in tracing Mr Dinan, they have warned the public not to approach him and to immediately contact Gardaí should they have any information regarding his whereabouts.
